The ALBA has released a brief communique expressing its “deep concern” over events occurring in Ferguson, USA. The message calls for a transparent investigation into the “assassination” of the unarmed teenager Michael Brown, and argues that the shooting and subsequent state responses to protest are representative of the USA’s racial inequality and discrimination.
